Ownership & History
This wine comes from Château Piconat which has been in the Comin family for five generations. In 2003, the estate was entrusted to one of the daughters of the family, Isabelle. She took charge of the domain with the able assistance of her
husband, Christophe Guicheney; Isabelle deals with the business side of things and Christophe makes the wine. Under their stewardship, Château Piconat has grown to 50 hectares in size

Vineyard & Location
The château itself is in Soussac in the Entredeux-Mers, although the vines also spread across two neighbouring villages. The soil is made up of clay and limestone, which is typical for Bordeaux and has helped to make it one of the world's most famous winemaking areas.
